Join Andover Musical Theatre Company and Starlight's Youth Theatre this May as they bring the timeless musical The Sound of Music to the stage at The Lights.

Set against the breath-taking backdrop of the Austrian Alps, the story follows Maria, a free-spirited young woman who becomes governess to the seven children of Captain Von Trapp. Through music, kindness and courage, she transforms the lives of the family,  but as the political landscape around them changes, the Von Trapp Family must face an uncertain future.

Featuring some of the most famous songs ever written for musical theatre — including Do-Re-Mi, My Favourite Things, Edelweiss and Climb Ev’ry Mountain — this beloved show is a celebration of family, resilience and the power of music.

With a talented local cast, beautiful music and the warmth of community theatre at its heart, AMTC’s production promises an uplifting night out for audiences of all ages.
