Saints legend, Matt Le Tissier, will be at The Lights theatre, Andover, on Wednesday 1 March to talk all things football and help raise money for local charities.

Mayor of Test Valley, Councillor Alan Dowden, has organised the event, which will run from 7.30pm to 10pm, to boost funds for his mayoral charities supporting young people in the borough.

Matt will be talking about his football career at Southampton Football Club, followed by a question-and-answer session. Matt who was a one man club legend for Southampton FC, played 443 for the Saints and scoring 161 goals, which included some absolute crackers. Matt represented England only 8 times, which many feel was a travesty that he didn’t play more times.

Mayor of Test Valley, Councillor Alan Dowden, said:

“This promises to be a fantastic evening and it will be fascinating to hear from Matt all about his football career and success at Saints. And it’s all for a great cause too! Please do book your ticket soon and I look forward to seeing you all there.”
